Sierra de la Culebra i Llacunes de Villafàfila(2X REDACCIÓ 200 PARAULES)

In 2009 I gonne to Castella i Lleó with two friends to Figueres. Castella i Lleó is the most extensive region to Europe. There are a lot of birding areas: wetlands, deciduous forests,  fields, alpine forests, etc.. This means that there are much variety of birds as the Tetrax tetrax, Grus Grus, Otis tarda, Drendocopus minor and a lot of mammals as the bear, the Iberian wolf which are the most emblematic. As I said I went to Castella, specifically the village of Villardeciervos in Zamora, which is near the Sierra de la Culebra where is one of the last places where wolves live there. We stayed two days in the village and made two trips to saw wolves but we had bad luck and we found only traces and feces(caques) .After we went to try to saw Otis tarda in Villafáfila reserve and we saw 12 together, also we could saw one male to Circus pygargus, one beautiful male to Oenanthe hispanica and some ducks. The next day we back to Catalonia and on the way we cauld saw Aquila crysaetos, Gyps fulvus, Circus aeroginosus and a lot of Ciconia ciconia. Was a good trip
